We look forward to seeing you on December 6, for the 38th edition of the High Desert Ultra! Registration is scheduled to open August 1st, on UltraSignup. The Over the Hill Track Club has enjoyed producing this event most years since 1986, to share our nearby desert trails with our community of fellow ultra runners from southern California and beyond. Enjoy great views of the southern Sierras and the Indian Wells Valley from the Rademacher and Spangler Hills south of Ridgecrest. We think this is a great event for first-timers and veterans alike.

New for 2025, we will be adding a 10k option!

Our 50k event continues as a participant in the Southern California Ultrarunner's Grand Prix Series.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Over the Hill Track Club seeks to use the proceeds generated by the High Desert Ultra to benefit organizations in our community. By participating in this event, you will be supporting our youth running programs and local charities. Thank you!
