Our 10K course will take you past a little bit of Indian Wells Valley history. The Gold Bug is one of the oldest mines in the Rademacher District, and was mined in the early 1900s and again during the depression in the 1930s. From what we can find, it was one of the more profitable ones in the area.
From the start at the college, runners will head uphill, passing by the historic Gold Bug mine, and climb over the ridgetop to the Gracie's Mansion aid station. From there, the course follows the 30K course back to the college.
As for the two longer events, there will be 2:30 p.m. cut off time at Gracie's aid station and a 4 p.m. cutoff time at the finish.
