Here are the virtual solo trail running courses that comprised our Summer 2020 Challenge. They are described here so that anyone can explore these trails on their own. We did six courses over six weeks. Participants ran or hiked each course using the navigation capabilities of either a course-capable watch or a phone application. Some physical course marking was used to facilitate the competitive aspect of the series, but it is possible to follow the routes without course marking. Clicking on one of the route maps below will take you to a detailed description of that route, including a narrative description, an image of the course map, and links to that route on some popular websites.
The links provided with each course description will take you to a page where you can view a map of the route on Garmin Connect, Strava, or MapMyRun, make the route available to your course-capable watch or phone app, and download a .gpx file if you need that to make the route available to another application.
