A nice, relatively easy & flat (all these dang mountains lately) 5 mile run (well it's a runners 5 mile).
Start at the corner of Bowman & County Line Road. The official start point is at the signs right there on the corner.
The green buttons will take you to a Course page on Garmin Connect, or a Route on Strava or MapMyRun. If you need a .gpx file, you will be able to download that from any of these route pages. You can review the route navigation instructions here.
Follow Bowman Road east for the first mile. Soon, Bowman Rd angles left heading straight for the southwest corner of the burro corrals. At about 1.8 miles, turn left again and head north until you reach a prominent east-west road at about 2 miles. Follow that road east for a short distance, until you come to a road heading northeast, toward a colorfully-painted rock formation "Heart Rock Pile". Run past the Heart Rock Pile, and follow the road as it curves to the top of a ridge. Turn right here and rejoin the diagonal Bowman Road as it nears the BLM corrals. Loop around at the notch in the corral boundary, and head back southwest on Bowman, to rejoin your outgoing route.
